A day I will never forget.  The most special day of our lives.  And it really was perfect.

From wearing my beautiful wedding dresses, to marrying my husband in such an incredible building and celebrating with all our loved ones, I couldn’t have wished for anything more.

We have just received our wedding pictures back from our photographer Jay Rowden. Jay is an award winning photographer based in London. When we first started looking for wedding photographers I really had no idea where to start. With St Paul’s having such strict rules on their photography it felt very important to us to have someone who had photographed here before and knew the area well.

The day went by so fast, it does feel like a blur but we enjoyed the entire weekend thoroughly! I want to do it all again!!!

The Finalé

The wedding week is here… I feel a mixture of nerves & excitement! Every night when I go to bed and ‘try’ to wind down… my mind starts on playing the day through my head and just imagining myself actually getting married!

Tomorrow  night we start our wedding journey by traveling down to Scott’s parents to drop off our baby dogs ready to set off for London on Thursday morning.  I’m glad we’ve decided to have a few things planned over the next few days so that it feels like the warm up and celebrations last longer than just one day!

Oh my goodness… the countdown is on!!! We are now counting days, not months!

There are just 23 days until the big day!!! I would have liked to have blogged more along the way however life has been pretty hectic up to now! Myself and Scott are just recovering from our hen and stag weekends! I had the BEST weekend ever! The girls took me on an amazing trip to London to see the one and only Dreamboys, followed by Life Drawing and Ministry of Sound.  On top of all that I also met some of the Made in Chelsea crew which really made my night!

My Maid of Honour and Bridesmaid really put 110% into the weekend to make every touch so special.  I loved every minute and to get to spend time with all my closest friends was just amazing.  My mum and mother-in-law came too which was so nice to have them bond with everyone.

Wedding Breakfast

With only 7 weeks to go until the big day, final preparations are all coming together.  This weekend we took a trip down to London to finalise plans for our wedding reception and wedding breakfast.

The menu tasting is something I have very much been looking forward to! We decided to go ahead with two different set menu choices that the hotel provide which meant we were able to taste two starters, two mains and two desserts. All I can say is they were ALL delicious! It is so difficult to choose what meal is best but when you are caring for 70 people then sometimes you have to think safe and think about what might please (nearly) everyone!

Say Yes To The Dress… Again!

So since my last dress post, and since opening the boutique, I will admit that I have taken a decision not to wear the dress I originally chose…

An opportunity of dreams came my way when I went to view the new Dando London collection for the boutique last September.  Whilst choosing these exquisite dresses to take pride of place in the boutique, myself and Christine Dando started chatting about the wedding.
