About Me

I’m Kimberley Anne and I’m a small town girl (and no, not living in a lonely world…!) I’m living in a big dream world…

I always imagined as a little girl growing up that my adult life would be like all the Disney films I’d loved to watch, that I was a princess and Prince Charming would one day whisk me off my feet…

As the years went by and I ventured into dating life,  I began to think that Disney was lying to me and that Prince Charming was truly fictional! On the 19th January 2015, two years after our first date, my prince charming proposed to me whilst we sailed across the Caribbean Sea.

As we began our wedding planning, my fiancé mentioned that his father was awarded an OBE for his support to a children’s charity, The Wooden Spoon.  This honorary award meant that we could marry in the incredible building that is

St Paul’s Cathedral.

This blog is about my journey of being a bride from a small town to a big city.  I have friends and family across the world that I want to be able to share my ideas and stories with, the good, the bad and the ugly and if anyway possible inspire all the other brides out there with my wedding decisions and dilemmas and of course and any curious readers that pass by…
